MAC GEAR LLC ("MAC GEAR", "we", "us") runs this website. We collect as little as possible, we never sell your information, and this page says plainly what we do with the rest.
What we collect
- Contact form. If you fill out the intake form we collect your name, phone number, optional email address, and your answers to the qualifying questions (goal, timeframe, obstacles, budget range, readiness, best time to call, and anything you write in the open field).
- Community signup. If you join the newsletter or community list we collect your email address.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site running.
This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and it does not show a cookie banner because it does not set non-essential cookies.
Why we collect it
- To call you back about your inquiry, which you consent to on the form.
- To send community and education emails you signed up for.
- To keep the website secure and working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is processed by the service providers that run this site (our hosting provider, Vercel Inc.) and is otherwise seen only by the MAC GEAR team. We would disclose information if the law required it.
How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept for as long as needed to follow up and maintain our relationship with you. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (559) 471-6579 and we will take care of it.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
Visitors from the EU/EEA and UK (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing are consent (forms and signups) and legitimate interest (site security). You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with an updated date. Questions? Call (559) 471-6579 or use the contact page.
